Event 2 – Where to next? Up to you…

Chapter 1 came and went and a great time was had by all in attendance. The people who came out were also good enough to put their reactions and ideas about what we should do next into the AreYouMyPartner book…

So, what shall we do for Chapter 2? Well, that depends on you.

Between now and Tuesday the 8th of February/2011, please send in your ideas for what we should do for Chapter 2.

But let’s be smart about this! All good stories evolve, so we should carry forward some inspiration from Chapter 1. So two things that people liked about Chapter 1 to consider when sending in your ideas:

1) Make it London based (this may change in the future, but Chapter 2 needs to stay in The Big Smoke for now)

2) Something that involves a group dynamic or teamwork

After the 8th of February, the best ideas will be put up here for a vote… then you vote for the best idea and we’ll set it up!

(By the way, a few people pointed out that Valentine’s day is coming up soon. I’m not sure if that day is special to your or not, but don’t be shy to consider it: should we (or should we not) hold something on that day? Debate…)

Help with memories…

Recently I replied to the FAQ: What happened to the original AreYouMyWife blog?

My friend Sam (who I met and worked with during AreYouMyWife) got in touch with an idea; he asked me to pick five dates I had during AreYouMyWife, reflect on them, and think about how those experiences could benefit AreYouMyPartner.

Then he pointed a camera at me and asked me to start talking.

We filmed this morning in central London, and hopefully we’ll be able to edit and publish those soon – time permitting.

Here’s a rough list of the dates I chose to talk about (working titles):

Flashback#4: Real life beauty
Flashback#5: Plans vs. Life
